What: Each Classroom Collects Non-Perishable Food items. They must NOT be expired.
When: Now until end of day April 30th
Where: Bring it to your classroom
Why: To collect for the Mountain Resource Center Food Bank
Items will be collected daily. Points will be given to each classroom. The points will be divided by the number of kids in the classroom to give an average donation. The Mountain Resource Center is extremely low on some items, and those items are worth more points!
5pts: Cereal- bag or box
4pts: Chunky Soup
3 pts: Canned Protein (tuna, chicken, Vienna sausages, etc.)
2 pts: Canned Fruit
1 point for EACH ROLL of toilet paper/ paper towels or any paper product.
1 point for all other non-perishable, non-expired food item
Gift Cards to King Soopers or Safeway are worth 1 point per dollar!
The classroom with the highest average points wins a Pizza Party provided by the Mountain Resource Center.
